Main Events and InterBox presented the long awaited showdown between the Canadian middleweight champion Francis Lafreniere (10-5-2) and former world contender Renan St-Juste (26-4-1). The International IBF belt at middleweight will be at stake.

The former world ranked contender Renan St-Juste (26-4-1) picked up a seventh round stoppage of Devon Moncrieffe (12-6-0) at a gala presented by Grant Brothers Boxing and Rixa Promotions. The card took place in Repentigny, a suburb of Montreal. Is was the first fight for St-Juste in 2015. The boxer has only averaged one fight per year since 2012 and won his last three after suffering defeats to Andre Dirrell and Allan Green.

David Maltais vs. Michel Tsalla - In round 1, Tsalla was the aggressor pushing the action but Maltais was landing more punches. Matais would throw multiple punches before going back to the outside and moving around the ring. As both men became increasingly tired in the 2nd round a slugfest emerged. Tsalla tried to bring the fight on the inside but Maltais would unleash powerful combinations while Tsalla seemed limited to throwing a punch or two at a time. In the 3rd, the action started to slow as both men tired but Maltais land the more significant power shots throughout the round. Tsalla had the best round of the night in the 4th and final round. He took advantage of the tired Maltais by landing a punch or two at a time and moving around the ring not giving Maltais a stationary target.

For the first time in over a year, super middleweight contender Renan St-Juste (23-4-1) will return to the ring on December 13 in Montreal, as part of a card being presented by Boxing Club East. The name of his rival is not yet known. St-Juste lost three out of his last five fights - including an upset split decision loss to Marcus Upshaw in May of 2010 and then fourth round TKO loss to Anthony Dirrell due to a should injury in December of 2011. He was out of action for almost a year, before coming back and getting stopped by Allan Green in seven rounds in November of 2012.

Bell Centre, Montreal - Bell Centre, Montreal - In a much tougher fight than expected, former IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (31-1, 24KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Denis Grachev (12-1-1, 8KOs) at a catch-weight of 170-pounds to win the NABF light heavyweight title. The scores were 115-113, 118-110 and 116-112. Bute returns from a shocking May TKO loss to Carl Froch, and has a rematch set with Froch in March of next year - if Froch beats Yusaf Mack in two weeks. Grachev was coming off an April knockout of rising light heavyweight Ismayl Sillakh.

The fighters are all set for tomorrow's event at the Bell center in Montreal, Canada. In the main event, former IBF super middleweight world champion Lucian Bute (30-1, 24 KOs) returns for the first time since the TKO defeat to Carl Froch, and takes on Denis Grachev (12-0-1, 8 KOs) for the NABF light heavyweight title. Bute weighed in at 169- pounds, and Grachev was actually lower at at 168.9. The fight will be televised by WealthTV and stream live at www.wealthtv.com.
