The single-elimination, two-weight class tournament featuring eight fighters in both the heavyweight and junior middleweight divisions began in February on Friday Night Fights and will culminate with the finals on May 22. Friday’s semifinals will feature: Heavyweights, eight rounds each: Andrey Fedosov (26-3, 21 KOs) vs. Lenroy Thomas (19-3, 9 KOs) Razvan Cojanu (13-1, 7 KOs) vs. Donovan Dennis (13-2, 1 NC, 10 KOs) Junior Middleweights, eight rounds each: Brandon Adams (16-1, 11 KOs) vs. Vito Gasparyan (15-3-5, 8 KOs) Stanyslav Skorokhod (9-0, 7 KOs) vs. John Thompson (15-1, 5 KOs) Fighter backgrounds: In the quarterfinal round of Boxcino 2015, California’s Fedosov scored a first-round TKO win over Nate Heaven, while Florida’s Thomas scored a seven-round TKO win over 2004 U.S. Olympian Jason Estrada. California’s Cojanu is looking to continue his winning ways following a seven-round unanimous decision win over Ed Fountain, while Dennis, of Iowa, is looking for another victory following a fourth-round TKO win over previously undefeated Steve Vukosa.

One week after event handlers rolled out the first batch of fights for the Boxcino 2015 Lightweight tournament, action climbs way up the scales for the heavyweight edition. Four bouts air live tonight on ESPN2 Friday Night Fights from Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York, the site of last year's Boxcino finals.
