Fringe super middleweight contender Demond Nicholson will square off tonight against gatekeeper Jessie Nicklow, Jeter Promotions matchmaker Brian Dillon confirmed to BoxingScene.

Nicholson (20-3, 19 knockouts) scored a second round knockout of Fernando Castenda in his last bout on Dec. 8.

The 26-year-old Nicholson has won his last two fights since being stopped by former world title challenger Jesse Hart on Apr. 28.

Nicklow (27-9-3, 9 KOs), who resides in Baltimore, has fought numerous contenders and unbeaten fighters in a pro career that has spanned over 15 years.

The 32-year-old Nicklow has not fought since Aug. 25, when he was stopped by unbeaten light heavyweight Trevor McCumby. Nicklow has also faced the likes of Jermain Taylor, Ryota Murata, and Sergiy Derevyanchenko.

Also on the card, unbeaten welterweight Radzhab Butaev will face Lanardo Tyner in an eight-round bout.

Butaev (10-0, 8 KOs), who is originally from Russia and now resides in Brooklyn, New York, stopped Azeal Cosio after the third round of his last bout on Oct. 27.

The hard-hitting Butaev, who is managed by Vadim Kornilov, has stopped five of his last six opponents. He is already ranked number eight by the WBA.

Tyner (35-14-2, 22 KOs) last fought on Feb. 8, losing by unanimous decision to unbeaten Isiah Jones. The 43-year-old from Detroit has lost four of his last seven bouts.

Heavyweight Jerry Forrest (23-2, 19 KOs) will square off against veteran Grover Young (13-25-3, 9 KOs) in an eight-round bout.

Unbeaten Greg Outlaw (7-0, 2 KOs) will face Tyrone Crawley (7-1-1) in an eight-round junior welterweight bout.
