As reported by Boxing Scene, Russian super welter Radzhab Butaev, 15-1 (12 KOs), will meet Mexican Jose Miguel Borrego, 22-4 (18 KOs), on July 19 in Mosco with the vacant WBA Intercontinental at stake.
In the main event, heavyweight Artem Suslenkov, 12-0 (7 KOs), takes on Croatian Agron Smakici, 20-2 (19 KOs) in a fight for the WBA Continental title.
Smakici, hard-punching but fragile, had then EBU champ Agit Kabayel badly hurt before getting stopped in their 2023 fight and returned to professional boxing after almost two years out May 30 in Vienna with a first-round knockout against overmatched Hungarian Laszlo Ivanyi.
Suslenkov beat Belgian Jack Mulowayi in his fight and won the IBF European title in his last fight and is now apparently ready to add another belt to his collection.
