The 32 year old believes his success as WBA ruler has been largely unnoticed, so he wants to use this clash with Inoue to cement his place amongst the elite level.

“I’m feeling very confident, I’ve prepared with 12 hard weeks for this fight. We had some time in Dubai to help with the time adjustments and the work out there was top class preparation.”
Does McDonnell have a shot?
Everyone is saying no based on reputations but if McDonnell can handle his power then I reckon it’s anyone’s fight

Naoya looks chiselled. Mcdonell looks like an auschwitz survivor. Inoue by later rounds body shot massacre
I usually stay away from judging guys on their weigh-in photos, but McDonnell looks "scary-unhealthy". Wonder what he'll have left when the bell rings.
He be knocked out by a body shot
He might rehydrate to 12 stone and flatten Inoue :)
Thats why they fight the fights, but Inoue is a killer. If I’m at the betting window I’m laying it all on the Japanese fighter.
