Photos: Jennings-Ortiz, Walters, Gamboa Weigh-In

By Jake Donovan

Luis Ortiz and Bryant Jennings are ripped and ready for the final HBO telecast of 2015.

While a weight limit isn't in place for the heavyweight divisions, both fighters hit the scales during Friday's weigh-in ahead of their 12-round battle Saturday evening at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York.

Ortiz (23-0, 20KOs) tipped the scales at a healthy 239 lbs. for his third fight of 2015. The unbeaten southpaw from Miami by way of Cuba makes the first defense of his secondary version of the heavyweight title. His most recent performance came just two months ago, knocking out Argentina's Matias Vidondo in three rounds this past October at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The slot was orginally intended for this bout, but Jennings decided he needed a little more incentive to make it worth his while. The Philadelphia-bred heavyweight got his wish, as he comes in at a shredded 229 lbs. for his first fight since suffering his first loss versus then-World heavyweght king Wladimir Klitschko in April.

Nicholas Walters cleared a huge hurdle ahead of Saturday's showdown with Jason Sosa. Six months after being forced to vacate his featherweight titles at the scales, the unbeaten boxer from Jamaica made weight for his HBO-televised co-feature bout.

Walters weighed in at 129.5 lbs. in his first official fight at super featherweight. Camden, New Jersey native Sosa came in right at the divisional limit of 130 lbs.

Three fights from a loaded undercard will appear on a same-day tape delay telecast on HBO Latino (Saturday, approximately 12:15 a.m. ET).

Headlining the HBO Latino portion, Yuneski Gonzalez faces unbeaten Vyacheslav Shrabanskyy in a dangerous 10-round light heavyweight crossroads bout. Both fighters weighed in at the divisional limit of 175 lbs.

The tape-delayed co-feature pits former welterweight titlist Joshua Clottey in a 10-round clash with Philly veteran Gabriel Rosado. Clottey weighed in at 157 lbs. while Rosado came in right at the 158 lb. catchweight limit.

[QUOTE=SCEN3RY;16335538]if you made case about his face or how dry he looked, I can get that, but Walters has always had those arms. First of all, consider the weight class. Secondly, not every guy has giant muscular arms if they're…
