On a recent episode of ProBox TV’s “Deep Waters,” analyst Paulie Malignaggi addressed the latest problematic behavior from troubled junior welterweight Ryan Garcia, whose recent racist public rant led to his expulsion by the WBC. Malignaggi, who stirred his own share of controversy during his years as an active fighter, said experience has taught him to avoid situations in which his “reactive” personality might get the best of him – and advises Garcia to do the same: “Don’t put yourself in those positions,” Malignaggi said. “Understand the kind of person you are.”
