Jose “Chon” Zepeda wants a third world title shot. Josue “The Prodigy” Vargas, born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, hopes his hometown main event is the ticket to title contention.

Paddy Donovan continues to cruise in the early stages of his pro career. The 22-year-old southpaw from Limerick, Ireland advanced to 7-0 (5KOs) following a first round knockout of Argentina’s Jose Luis Castillo. A perfectly placed body shot forced Castillo (9-6-1, 6KOs) to the canvas, producing the stoppage at 1:22 of round one in their ESPN+ aired preliminary bout Friday from Falls Park in Belfast.

Paddy Donovan continued his rapid rise as a professional as he pounded Siar Ozgul to defeat on the MTK Global show at Bolton. The 22-year-old Irish southpaw was too slick, too powerful and too big for Ozgul, who was pulled out by his corner at the end of the fourth round. Ozgul, a London-based Turkish boxer, had lost five of his previous six but had boxed in high class, having gone the distance with Viktor Posto, Anthony Yigit and Sean McComb.

Paddy Donovan is continuing to set himself some huge standards as he prepares to return to the ring against Siar Ozgul on this Friday’s MTK Fight Night. Irish star Donovan (5-0, 3 KOs) faces another step up as he takes on former Southern Area champion Ozugl (15-5, 3 KOs) at the University of Bolton Stadium on Friday, live in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV.

Irish sensation Paddy Donovan will take on former Southern Area champion Siar Ozgul in a great clash on next week’s action-packed #MTKFightNight. The event takes place at the University of Bolton Stadium on Friday 19 February, live in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV.

Due to the current travel restrictions from the UK to Dubai, next Saturday’s planned Rotunda Rumble is unfortunately unable to take place. Instead, a spectacular MTK Fight Night will be held in Bolton, England on February 19, featuring three superb title fights.

Paddy Donovan will have to wait until next month for his return to the ring. The Limerick southpaw had been set for action on January 22 at the Production Park Studios in Wakefield, England, but had his comeback date pushed back due to COVID-19.

Highly-rated Irish sensation Paddy Donovan will return to the ring when he competes on the upcoming #MTK Fight Night event next month. The card takes place at Production Park Studios in Wakefield on Friday 22 January, and will be broadcast live in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV.

Kazakhstan superstar Tursynbay Kulakhmet won the WBC International super-welterweight title in just his second professional fight after a dominant victory over previously unbeaten Macaulay McGowan on Wednesday's MTK Fight Night.

Irish sensation Paddy Donovan has set himself the target of becoming world champion within three years – ahead of his battle with former Southern Area champion Jumanne Camero on next month’s MTK Fight Night event.
