According to a report in Sowetan, former IBF world minimumweight champion Nkosinathi Joyi's contract with promoter Branco Milenkovic expired last Wednesday and it doesn't look like the boxer will renew it.
Both Joyi (22-1, 15KOs) and his handlers led by Mamali Productions boss, Siphatho Handi, refuse to comment on what he plans to do. In last month's fight with huge underdog Mario Rodriguez of Mexico, Joyi suffered a shocking loss by a seventh round knockout.
"We have no further comment," said Handi.
