IBF featherweight champion Nina Meinke, 20-3 (4 KOs), retained the title with a unanimous decision over Daniela Ramina Bermudez, 32-6-3 (12 KOs), in a fight that was not the headliner on P2M’s show at the Town Hall in Rostock (Germany).

IBF women's featherweight champion Nina "The Brave" Meinke, 19-3, will make the first defence of her title on May 10 in Rostock, Germany against an opponent to be announced.

German featherweight Nina Meinke (19-3) won the vacant IBF title on a majority decision over Argentinian Daniela Bermudez (32-5-3) in the headliner of P2M's big show at the Sporthalle in Hamburg. After 12 three-minute rounds the judges had it 118-110, 119-109 and 114-114.

Nina Meinke has reported on social media that her battle with Argentina’s Daniela Bermudez for the vacant IBF featherweight title on September 21 will be fought over 12-threes.

Daniela Asenjo, who lost to Gabriela Fundora on Aug. 10 in a flyweight title fight, will move up to junior bantamweight to face Linn Sandstrom on Oct. 12 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Frustrated and upset after her scheduled homecoming bout against Nina Meinke in March had to be canceled at the last minute as a result of an eye injury, Amanda Serrano warmed up for her November rematch with Katie Taylor by tearing into Stevie Morgan from the opening bell. Morgan (14-2, 13 KOs) only turned professional two years ago and simply was no match for a multi-weight world champion in her 50th professional contest.

Amanda Serrano’s promoter revealed the timeline of how the undisputed featherweight champion went from a planned main event to a stunning last-minute cancellation

Indications are that Amanda Serrano's main event should have been scrapped due to her eye injury far earlier than the time of the first bell.

Amanda Serrano was forced to withdraw from her scheduled featherweight championship defense against Nina Meinke at the last minute on Saturday when she was unable to receive medical clearance following an eye injury.
