Mexico's Emanuel 'Vaquero' Navarrete predicts a knockout this December 7 in Puebla, when he collides with Francisco Horta in the fourth defense in the year of his super bantamweight title of the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

Navarrete ensures that he would be delighted to welcome the Japanese monster Naoya Inoue to the weight limit of 122 pounds.

On his last day of training at the Otomí Ceremonial Center, Navarrete also said he would love to face Luis 'Pantera' Nery, now that he could not make the weight at bantamweight - although the two of them are friends.

"If that fight makes sense, I would be delighted," Navarrete said to ESPN Deportes.

“I think the 'Monster' Inoue is a fighter that everyone wants to face and I'm joining the list. I would be delighted to face a fighter like him and welcome him to 122. And Nery is also my friend, he has my number, and whenever he likes he can call me and we can fight."

Navarrete said that against Horta he's looking to close the year off in style and he's happy to do so in Mexico.

“After a series of fights in the United States comes the fight in Mexico, I am grateful to Zanfer for making this possible, for giving me that possibility. 2019 has been a great year, we jumped ahead and we'll continue to do so in the same direction, preparing one hundred percent to get better things,” Navarrete said.

"The plan is to make two or three big fights, I want to continue as a great champion, unify, there are many fighters, and hopefully we can, but if not, we'll go to 126 pounds."

Finally, he said that returning to the Otomí Ceremonial Center was a success.

“I had already prepared myself here a few times but I was helping others, and now it was my turn to help myself and it is a place that gives you a lot of peace of mind, you release yourself from all the pressure and concentrate on the fight, beyond the height that it helps you to have a better physical condition,” Navarrete said.
