Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - At their ongoing 49th annual convention, the World Boxing Council issued an order which requires the winner of Erik Morales (52-7, 36KOs) and Danny Garcia (22-0, 14KOs) to make an immediate defense against mandatory challenger Ajose Olusegun (30-0, 14KOs). Morales defense the WBC junior welterweight title against Garcia on January 28th at the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas. HBO will televise. Ajose won a WBC final eliminator with a lopsided decision over Ali Chebah in September.
