WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs) appears to be on track to face veteran boxer Cornelius 'K9' Bundrage on June 6th, on eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade in Manhattan, New York.

According to El Nuevo Dia, an official announcement could be made as early as next week. It would be the first of three fights under his new promotional agreement with Roc Nation Sports.

Bundrage, 41, is the reigning 154-pound champion of the International Boxing Federation (IBF). Besides participating in the reality series The Contender, Bundrage (34-5, 29 KOs) captured the junior middleweight belt of the IBF, for a second time, on October 14 of last by beating Carlos Molina by unanimous decision.

Cotto has been inactive since June 7th of last year, when he captured his fourth divisional world title with a TKO victory over Sergio 'Maravilla' Martinez.
