Lucas Ketelle explores the historic accomplishments of George Foreman and Bernard Hopkins and current titleholders such as Erislandy Lara.

Daishaun Bundrage, 1-0 (1 KO), the son of Detroit’s former two-time IBF 154lb champion Cornelious “K9” Bundrage, will have his second professional fight against Bossier City, Louisiana, veteran Lamar Bolden

Former two-time world junior middleweight titleholder Cornelius Bundrage stopped journeyman Antoine Elerson Saturday night at the Elks Lodge in Bonita Springs, Florida. With the victory, Bundrage, who resides in Southfield, Michigan, improves to 37-6, 21 knockouts.

Cornelius Bundrage was victorious late Saturday night, stopping Sergio Gomez at the Ford Community Center in Dearborn, Michigan. With the win, Bundrage improves to 35-6, 20 KOs. Gomez, who resides in Managua, Nicaragua, drops to 20-21, 16 KOs.

Former junior middleweight world titleholder Cornelius Bundrage will return to the ring Saturday night, co-trainer Jay Hernandez told BoxingScene.com Thursday morning.

Jarrett Hurd arrived for his fight against Oscar Molina in Brooklyn as an undefeated junior middleweight prospect. He left with another victory, this one by 10th-round technical knockout, and with a belief that he’s advanced past the prospect level.

Jermall Charlo gets his long-awaited shot at a super welterweight title, and does so against Cornelius Bundrage, who managed to jump him in line and claim his second title in the process. The two will collide Saturday afternoon at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. NBC will air live as part of the ongoing Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) series.

It's been 18 months since Jermall Charlo was first promised a title shot. Once that moment finally arrived, the twin boxer from Houston took out all of his frustration on Cornelius Bundrage, scoring four knockdowns en route to a 3rd round knockout Saturday afternoon at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. Bundrage hit the deck in every round, including two knockdowns in round four. The final trip to the canvas was enough to convince the referee to stop the contest. The official time was 2:33 of round four.

Jermall Charlo is oblivious to all the over-used, cliched youth-versus-experience, boxer-versus-puncher comparisons that us media types (guilty as charged) love to dwell upon in the lead up to a fight. He knows that once the opening bell sounds, only two people's mindsets matter - his and his opponent's. No one else will be doing the punching. Charlo (21-0, 16 KOs) attempts to wrest the IBF junior middleweight belt from Cornelius Bundrage (35-5, 19 KOs) at the Foxwoods Casino in Manshantucket, Conn., today. Having followed Bundrage's career since he finished third in season 2 of The Contender in 2006, Charlo, 25, is aware that Bundrage, 42, is very much more than a cliche in the ring. Age notwithstanding, the Detroit fighter could box and bang well enough to win the belt on two separate occasions in his late 30's and early 40's.
