Former three division champion Adrien Broner (28-1, 22KOs) is still looking to avenge his first career defeat, which came at the hands of Marcos Maidana last December in Texas. Broner was knocked down twice and lost his WBA title on the losing end of a twelve round unanimous decision. He’s also on an even shorter list as he’s only the 2nd fighter to get a rematch against Mayweather with the other fighter being Jose Luis Castillo twelve years ago. Part of the reason there was a demand for a fight with Mayweather and Maidana in the first place was due to Maidana upsetting Adrien Broner last year. Many have compared Broner to Mayweather as both use a shoulder roll defense and have similar personas outside the ring.
