A few minutes ago WBO mandatory featherweight challenger Gamalier "Gammy" Rodríguez advised BoxingScene.com that had just officially signed his contract to face WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko.
The fight will take place on May 2nd on the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao undercard at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Rodriguez, who is from Puerto Rico, will enter the fight riding a 17 fight wining streak. Lomachenko, who is from the Ukraine won his title in just his 3rd pro fight.
