It was revealed on Saturday afternoon, that Floyd Mayweather will hold a press conference on Monday in Las Vegas, to officially announce his next exhibition fight - which is being held under the Rizin promotional banner in Japan.
Reports in Japan are suggesting the contest may take place on a date in December.
Mayweather, who retired back in August of 2017 with an undefeated record of 50-0, is being officially inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame this weekend. He was part of last year's announced class.
Mayweather traveled to Japan, under Rizen, back in December of 2018. He blew away kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa in one round.
He would hold another exhibition in June of last year in Florida when he went the eight round distance with social media star Logan Paul. The fight was carried by Showtime Pay-Per-View.
After that bout, Mayweather stated that he wasn't going to pursue further in-ring exhibitions.
However, earlier this year it was rumored that Mayweather, 46-years-old, would return to the ring, in Dubai, against social media personality Money Kicks. The fight never came off.
He would eventually return to the ring last month in Abu Dhabi - when he busted up and dropped former sparring partner Don Moore during their eight round exhibition bout.
