WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26 KOs) has bombarded on Thursday night by reporters who questioned his decision to face massive underdog Andre Berto on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There were other options, like WBA 'regular' champion Keith Thurman and British star Amir Khan - who's been chasing Mayweather for the last two years. Mayweather sees nothing that makes Khan a better option than Berto - at least right now. Both Khan and Berto share the same trainer in Virgil Hunter.
