The large effort to draw more than 100,000 spectators to a mostly free boxing event in San Francisco on July 11 will be anchored by one of boxing’s smallest champions.

Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev (34-3-1, 29 KOs), the former light heavyweight champion, will return against former world title challenger Sullivan Barrera (22-3, 14 KOs) in a 12-round cruiserweight battle. The card will feature pugilists from four different continents fighting for championship belts from all four major sanctioning organizations. The event will take place Saturday, April 25 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and will be streamed live exclusively on DAZN.

Carson, California - Joet Gonzalez (23-0, 14 KOs) of Glendora, Calif. defeated Manuel Avila (23-2-1, 8 KOs) of Fairfield, Calif. via technical knockout in the sixth round of a 10-round clash to capture the for the WBO Global and WBA Continental America Featherweight Titles.

The pride of Fairfield, California, Manuel “Tino” Avila (23-1-1 8KOs) looks to make a statement heading into his upcoming July 13th bout against blue-chip prospect Joet Gonzalez (22-0 13KOs), which will take place at the Dignity Health Sports Center in Carson, CA, broadcast nationwide on the streaming service platform, DAZN.

Juan Antonio "El Mozo" Rodriguez (30-7, 25 KOs) of Puebla, Mexico scored an upset, ninth-round technical knockout victory over Mercito "No Mercy" Gesta (32-3-2, 17 KOs) of San Diego, Calif. in the scheduled 10-round main event of the inaugural edition of Golden Boy DAZN Thursday Night Fights at Avalon Hollywood. Rodriguez stopped Gesta at 2:55 of the aforementioned round.
