A recap of Breyon Gorham's 10-round unanimous decision over Luis Feliciano.

Mykquan Williams earned by far the most significant win of his promising career. The rising prospect from Hartford, Connecticut scored three knockdowns en route to a sixth round, technical knockout victory over Luis Feliciano. Their battle of unbeaten junior welterweights saw Williams close the show at 1:43 of the sixth

Luis Feliciano will hit the ground running in the new year. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that a battle of unbeaten prospects between Feliciano and Mykquan Williams is set to headline the 2024 season premiere of ProBox TV’s Wednesday Night Fights series. The scheduled ten-round junior welterweight bout will take place on January 17 at Whitesands Events Center, ProBox headquarters in Plant City, Florida.

Former UFC and WEC world champion Anthony Pettis (1-0, 0 KOs) picked up a majority decision win over 54-year-old Hall of Famer Roy Jones Jr. (66-10, 47 KOs), with scores of 76-76, 77-75 and 78-74 in the main event of Gamebred Boxing 4 live on pay-per-view from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wis.

The main event will renew boxing’s long-standing rivalry of Puerto Rico vs. Mexico as undefeated prospect Luis Feliciano (15-0, 8 KOs) faces off against Mexico’s Alejandro Frias (13-6-2, 6 KOs) in an 8-round super lightweight bout.

MTK Global’s efforts to make inroads in the U.S. boxing market has drawn the ire of at least one rival company. Heredia Boxing Management (HBM) and Moses Heredia have filed a nine-count complaint against the Dubai-based management company, MTK co-founder Daniel Kinahan, MTK Chief Strategy Officer Paul Gibson, law firm VGC LLC and Golden Boy Promotions (GBP). The allegations include four counts of racketeering against MTK, Kinahan and Gibson, four counts of tortious interference against MTK and VGC and one count of breach of promoter-manager contract against GBP.

If there are fights to be made this summer by his current handlers, Luis Feliciano wants to make sure he’s ready for the occasion. The unbeaten junior welterweight prospect has made his way back to California, where he lives and trains after relocating from his original hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Feliciano was quarantined with his family in the Midwest since the outbreak of the ongoing coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in mid-March, opting to be with loved ones since boxing is the only reason he lives in California these days.

At a time when it’s easy to develop bad habits, Luis Feliciano made sure to keep it relatively boring while awaiting word on when he can return to the ring. Rather, the few things the rising 140-pound prospect has done while quarantined during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic are actually motivating factors to his career.

Vergil Ortiz Jr. (14-0, 14 KOs) will look to end the 2019 year with another spectacular knockout win when he defends his WBA Gold Welterweight Title against Brad “King” Solomon (28-1, 9 KOs) in a 12-round fight. The event will take place Friday, Dec. 13 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. and will be streamed live as part of fight season on DAZN.

Luis Feliciano entered the night determined to plead his case as the next in line to carry the torch for all Puerto Rican boxers. A heck of a statement was made in a clean 10-round unanimous decision win over Genaro Gamez. Scores were 98-92 twice and 99-91 in favor of Feliciano in their battle of unbeaten super lightweight prospects Thursday evening at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, Calif.
