WBA, WBO lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko has won world titles in three weight divisions, he captured two gold medals in the amateurs - and how he wants to achieve another goal for his legacy.

Lomachenko wants to capture all four of the major titles at 135-pounds.

He will get the opportunity to capture his third title at the weight, when he faces Luke Campbell for the vacant WBC lightweight title on August 31 at the O2 Arena in London.

If Lomachenko defeats Campbell, he could be in line to fight for the IBF world title in early 2020.

Undefeated prospect Teofimo Lopez is expected to face IBF champion Richard Commey before the year is out.

And the winner of that fight would go ahead and face the Lomachenko - should he beat Campbell.

“I want all four of the belts in the lightweight division, I want to be undisputed,” Lomachenko told Express Sport.

“I’m happy that I've achieved a lot in my short career already, three weights, I want to keep going.”

At the same time, Lomachenko is in no way overlooking the challenge of Campbell - who captured Olympic gold in the 2012 games - where Loma won his second gold.

"I saw Luke around on the amateur scene, we both have Olympic gold medals, he has a very high boxing IQ and is very smart in the ring. I have lots of respect for him as a boxer and as a person," Lomachenko said.

“It will be an exciting match-up for sure, especially in front of the fans in London. The fans in England know a lot about boxing, after winning my medal, I always wanted to come here again.”
