Lebedev Wants a Direct Rematch With Guillermo Jones

By Luke Furman

It's been two weeks since the bloody war that closed the right eye shut of Denis Lebedev (25-2, 19 KOs) and turned his face into a swollen wreck. but Lebedev, after spending several days in the hospital, has asked the WBA for an immediate rematch with cruiserweight champion Guillermo Jones (39-3-2, 31 KOs). Lebdev was up on the cards after ten rounds, but was knocked out in the eleventh.

Likely Jones will get a voluntary defense if Lebedev is placed in a mandatory position. Either way, Lebedev wants to return on the Wladimir Klitschko-Alexander Povetkin undercard, which takes place on October 6.
cut off the sound and watch how many times Lebedev head snaps back from jones jab. How they had Jones jab count and connect so low is beyond me, because Lebedev ate lots of stiff power jabs to the face.
…
