After years of waiting and various injuries by Tszyu, the fight finally happened tonight and BoxingScene drops the round by round descriptions that we have been known to do by the Boxing interent fans. Mike Tyson was interviewed prior to the start of the show and said that he wants to "come back and fight if the circumstances are right". Mike said that he was in the dressing room of Sharmba Mitchell and thinks that the two year layoff by Kostya Tszyu will have an effect on the fight. Tyson said that he is pulling for Sharmba to win this fight. There are no undercard fights on the televised telecast and we are going straight to the main event.

Jim Grey stated that after speaking to Sharmba Mitchell and Kostya Tszyu, he said that the fight appears to be much more important to Sharmba Mitchell, he feels that Kostya Tszyu is looking at Mitchell as just another fight. Tszyu said prior to the fight that his shoulder is 100% and Mitchell said that his leg is 100% as well.

Sharmba Mitchell is the first man to walk to the ring, Kostya Tszyu walks to the ring second and is followed by a Russian pop star. The same female pop star who followed him in a previous fight and is singing the same song "I'm going to knock you out tonight". The crowd is pretty weird tonight, it sounds like both guys are getting booed, or at least the boos are drowning out the cheers.

Once Jimmy Lennon Jr. did the "It's Showtime" call, the crowd went wild. After Jimmy announced both guys in, Mitchell appears to be the crowd favorite tonight as Tszyu got plenty of boos.

Round One - Both guys staring very slow. Tszyu coming foward and Mitchell countering. Mitchell lands a very good left hand. Accidental but of heads, noone is hurt. Both guys are clinching often. Tszyu is bleeding on the bridge of the nose from the clash of heads.

Round Two - Both guys are starting slow again. Tszyu with a huge right, Sharmba is hurt. Tszyu follows up and Sharmba is down. Mitchell beats the count but he is hurt. Sharmba with a left, Tszyu keeps coming. Kostya Tszyu gets caught with a left, but wobbles Mitchell with another right at the bell.

Round Three - Mitchell down again by a huge right at the start and is flat on his back, Mitchell gets up but is very hurt. Crowd chanting Tszyu as Kostya tries to finish him off. A huge welt building over the right eye of Mitchell. Sharmba wobbled again by another right. Mitchell hurt by another right, Tszyu bangs to the body and Mitchell is down again. Mitchell gets up, Tszyu goes for the kill, Mitchell is down for the 4th time and the ref stops the fight. Its all over, TSZYU IS BACK.
