Some of Kazakhstan’s best prospects produced fantastic performances as they competed on an #MTK Fight Night event taking place in Almaty on Friday.
In the main event, highly-rated Kamshybek Kunkabayev (2-0, 2 KOs) produced another superb performance in just his second professional fight, as he earned a stoppage victory over Serhiy Radchenko in four rounds.
Sultan Zaurbek (10-0, 7 KOs) also produced a dazzling display, as he dropped Vladyslav Melnyk on his way to a dominant unanimous decision win.
Elsewhere on the card, there were wins for a number of rising stars, as Talgat Shaiken, Ray Seitzhanov, Abay Tolesh, Nurdos Tolebay and Rakhat Seitzhan all impressed.
IN OTHER NEWS: Darragh Foley produced a sensational performance as he defeated previously unbeaten Ty Telford at the Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia on Wednesday.
Foley (19-4-1, 9 KOs) won the fight against Telford (6-1-1, 2 KOs) via split decision after 10 fantastic rounds, with the judges scoring it 97-93, 95-94 and 93-96.
It sees Foley win the vacant WBA Oceania, IBF Pan Pacific and IBO Asia Pacific, and end the year in style with an important victory.
It’s the latest great win for Foley in his career, having also earned victories against the likes of Steven Wilcox, Ryuiji Ikeda and Jeffrey Arienza.
Meanwhile, Paul Fleming’s fight with Bruno Tarimo had an unfortunate end, with the fight ending in a third round technical draw due to an accidental head clash.
