Liam Davies turned in a supreme showing to dominate and outclass Francesco Grandelli after Michael Gomez Jnr thrashed Jordan Flynn

At a time when many say every fight in boxing is a must-win, Michael Gomez Jnr is saying his career will end if he does not beat Jordan Flynn in Manchester on Saturday at the Co-op Live Arena.

Cameron Vuong finally put an end to his feud with Jordan Flynn after two postponed bouts.

It all started in London with an in-ring confrontation at the O2 Indigo in February. A couple of weeks later, Cameron Vuong and Jordan Flynn went nose-to-nose again at the press conference to officially announce their fight.

Super featherweight prospect Jordan Flynn had been due to face the swift fists of Cameron Vuong but instead was faced with late-replacement Tampela Maharusi, from Tanzania, and Flynn notched a successful six-round win by 59 points to 54.

Cameron Vuong remained perfect in his young career and is already set for his next fight. The first-year pro enjoyed a one-sided, sixth-round stoppage of a reluctant Ishmael Ellis. Vuong was scheduled for his first scheduled eight-round bout, but Ellis’ lack of effort forced referee Bob Alexander to stop the contest at 2:36 of the sixth round Saturday on DAZN from Indigo at The O2 in London.

Utilita Arena, Birmingham - Conah Walker (12-2-1, 4 KOs) pulled off a stunner by battering and stopping undefeated welterweight prospect Cyrus Pattinson (6-1, 4 KOs) in eight rounds.

Galal Yafai will headline Matchroom Boxing's latest NXTGEN card at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on Saturday August 19 when he puts his WBC International Flyweight Title on the line against Tommy Frank, shown live worldwide on DAZN.

British, European and Commonwealth bantamweight champion Lee McGregor stepped up to super-bantamweight for the night and saw his 100 percent record ended as he was held to a draw by Argentina's Diego Ruiz at York Hall, East London.

MTK Fight Night will kick off 2022 with two title fights when they return to York Hall in London on February 11. The bill will be broadcast in the USA on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV, as undefeated Danny Dignum puts his WBO European middleweight title on the line against Grant Dennis, while Irish star Gary Cully defends his WBO European lightweight title against Artjoms Ramlavs.
