Joe Murray: record, next fight and profile →
Anthony Crolla and Joe Murray both vie for titles this Saturday night on the undercard of Martin Murray’s Commonwealth, British and WBA Inter-Continental contest with Nick Blackwell at Wigan’s Robin Park Centre. Hatton Promotions have put together a strong bill as they seek to move three of their biggest names further up the title ladder.
MARTIN MURRAY will weigh 3lb more than British middleweight title rival Nick Blackwell at Wigan’s Robin Park Arena tomorrow night (SAT). The pair clash for the vacant Lonsdale belt with Murray’s Commonwealth WBA inter-continental and Commonwealth crowns also on the line. The weigh-in was staged in Murray’s hometown St Helens, and the local idol tipped the scales at 11st 5lb in front of his noisy fans.
MARTIN MURRAY has told arch domestic rival Darren Barker to prove himself as the best in Britain before taking on the world’s best.
