Jessie Vargas Likely Back on Marquez-Bradley Card

BoxingScene.com has been advised that undefeated welterweight contender Jessie Vargas (22-0, 9KOs) will likely return on the televised Juan Manuel Marquez-Tim Bradley HBO pay-per-view undercard. The fight card will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on either September 14th or October 12th.

Vargas last fought on March 16th when he defeated Wale "Lucky Boy" Omitoso via unanimous decision in Southern California.

I thought Jessie's last fight was one of the best ones I've seen from him..I'm surprised how many are down on Vargas..He's young and is still growing,his last fight he showed he may have potential to be somebody in the…

They need to put this guy up against someone that will bring a war to him. Dude is way too boring. I want to see how he handles constant pressure.
