Jamar Pemberton: record, next fight and profile →
Jamar Pemberton, a 21-year-old middleweight from St. Louis, will return to the site of his first career defeat on Friday, determined to turn the page against another undefeated opponent, Khalil Mitchell.
Bryce Henry took exception to his placement on the B-side in his DAZN debut. The 22-year-old Fort Lauderdale-based prospect sent a message in a four-round, unanimous decision win over Jamar Pemberton. Judges William Glover (38-37), Fred Fluty (38-37) and Efrain Lebron (38-37) scored for Henry in their battle of unbeaten middleweights Friday evening from Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
Ashton Sylve is tasked with a new opponent for his first main event. The unbeaten lightweight prospect will now face Adam Kipenga, who replaces a medically scratched Angel Rebollar on very short notice. The scheduled eight-round bout will headline the inaugural installment of Most Valuable Promotions’ prospect-based series this Friday on DAZN from Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. California’s Rebollar (6-2, 3KOs)—a 19-year-old right-handed fighter—was forced to withdraw after suffering an untimely eye injury.
The full lineup is set for the inaugural event of Most Valuable Promotions’ prospect-based series. As previously reported, unbeaten lightweight Ashton Sylve—among the first MVP signees—will face Angel Rebollar (6-2, 3KOs) in a scheduled eight-round bout atop a May 26 DAZN show from Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. MVP revealed the full supporting cast on Monday, including fast-rising junior welterweight Kevin Hayler Brown (2-0, 2KOs), who faces Julian Smith in a ten-round regional title fight.
Amateur national champion Jamar Pemberton is scheduled to make professional debut on May 21st on EntroBox Bally Sports card at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.
Featherweight contenders Christopher “Pitufo” Diaz and Miguel Beltran will square off in the ten round main event of a Bally Sports Presents: Entrobox Championship Boxing card Saturday, May 21 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, FL.
Amateur middleweight standout Jamar Pemberton is planning to turn pro and signed on with Las Vegas based management firm Victory Sports & Entertainment.
