Former world champion George Groves is certainly not a fan of the current fad where Youtube celebrities are turning pro and give high profile treatment on boxing events. Last year, Youtubers KSI and Logan Paul held their rematch on DAZN. That was followed by last week's Youtuber fight in Miami between Logan's younger brother Jake Paul and AnEsonGib, also on DAZN.
Jake Paul’s boxing debut was a lot more explosive than either of the two fights between his brother Logan Paul and British rival KSI. Logan and KSI were the first YouTubers to cross over into the boxing world. Their first fight was a draw while KSI edged out the rematch. Both fights were commercially successful.

MIAMI—The Paul family has its first pro win. Nearly three months after claiming the sport was fixed after watching his brother suffer a loss in Los Angeles, Jake Paul got it right in his own pro debut. He had plenty of help, as AnEson Gib’s fighting style—or lack thereof—left him wide open as Paul scored a 1st round knockout in the co-feature attraction Thursday evening at Meridian at Island Gardens in Miami, Florida.

Ali Loui Al-Fakhri embraced his beak so much, that he adopted the moniker AnEsonGib, which, if read backwards, reveals he has a big nose. AnEsonGib is a YouTuber and content creator and who will be making his pro boxing debut when he takes on Jake Paul on Thursday in Miami on DAZN. The Matchroom Boxing promoted fight will serve as the co-main event to the Demetrius Andrade versus Luke Keeler fight on DAZN, setting up a big weekend of festivities in the Miami area that will be highlighted by the Super Bowl.
