Zach Parker gave a much-needed reminder of his capabilities by blasting out Jack Arnfield inside four rounds in Birmingham on Saturday night

A light-heavyweight clash between Zach Parker and Jack Arnfield has been added to the Queensberry Promotions ‘Magnificent 7’ in Birmingham on July 20.

Two all-action Super-Middleweight bouts have been added to November 14's World Title triple-header undercard, live on Sky Sports and DAZN. Jamie Cox meets Jack Cullen whilst John Docherty steps up against Jack Arnfield, supporting Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez, Terri Harper vs. Katharina Thanderz and Ebanie Bridges vs. Rachel Ball.

Sebastian Eubank got his professional career off to a solid start with a points win. The 26-year-old formed part of the undercard to his brother Chris’ World Boxing Super Series semi-final super-middleweight showdown against George Groves.

Undefeated British super-middleweight Zach Parker (14-0, 10 KOs) has been confirmed as the reserve for the blockbuster World Boxing Super Series semi-final between domestic rivals George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr. on February 17 at the Manchester Arena.

Tommy Langford versus Jack Arnfield looks to have a new date and venue after Steve Wood won the purse bids. The pair, who will contest the former’s British middleweight title, had been set to square off on February 10 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, exclusively live on VIP Boxing TV. But after promoter Wood managed to secure a terrestrial TV date for the fight, which is a mandatory defence, it is expected to feature on the undercard of George Groves’ WBA Super super-middleweight title defence against Chris Eubank Jr.

Tommy Langford will defend his British middleweight title against Jack Arnfield in the early part of next year. The pair will meet on February 10 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool after Steve Wood won the purse bids. Liam Cameron is set to come up against Mark Heffron in a final eliminator for the British middleweight title. It’s currently out to bids and must take place by the end of April.

Daniel Dubois could fight in a major step-up in the paid code in 2018. The Southern Area and WBC Youth heavyweight champion, who is 5-0 since turning over back in April, has been nominated for a shot at the vacant English crown. Dubois returns to the ring on December 9, at the Copper Box Arena in London, against Dorian Darch –– a former Anthony Joshua opponent –– as he looks to continue his development on a card topped by James DeGale and Lee Selby in respective defences of their IBF super-middleweight and IBF featherweight titles.

The British Boxing Board of Control released their British and English titles round-up this week and it contained a few match-ups that will provide mandatory challengers for current holders of the Lonsdale belt. Firstly, though, the mandated fight between middleweight holder Tommy Langford (18-1, 6 KOs) and Jack Arnfield (24-2, 6 early) will be promoted by Steve Wood of VIP Promotions after he won the right to stage the contest, which will take place ‘on a date and at a venue as yet to be advised’

Jack Arnfield got the decision in a rather forgettable encounter with his Blackpool rival Brian Rose. The pair clashed at the Manchester Arena, exclusively live on Sky Sports, for the eventual winner’s WBA International middleweight title. The fight, dubbed ‘The Battle of Blackpool’, took place as part of the undercard to Jorge Linares’ world lightweight title rematch against Anthony Crolla.
