BoxingScene's Lucas Ketelle takes a deep dive into the red-hot 140lbs division.

Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz and Lamont Roach Jnr are uniting for a December 6 Prime Video pay-per-view main event and filling some of the voids left by their currently “discombobulated” sport.

This week brings five days with a combined nine boxing broadcasts — one show on Wednesday, one on Thursday, two shows on Friday, four shows on Saturday, and one on Sunday. The biggest of them all is Saturday’s pay-per-view headlined by Tim Tszyu vs. Sebastian Fundora. Tszyu-Fundora is one of four world title fights on the show.

Omar Juarez (14-2, 5 KOs) will take on Clarence Booth (21-9, 13 KOs) on Wednesday in Plant City, Florida. But if Juarez has his way, next up will be junior welterweight titleholder Rolando “Rolly” Romero.

The conversation around Rolando Romero always seems to eventually return to Ryan Garcia, but Romero says he's now set to fight a "much more exciting fighter" in Isaac Cruz on March 30.

Undefeated rising star Tim Tszyu will take on all-action contender Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora for Tszyu’s WBO title (pending approval), and the vacant WBC 154-pound world title, headlining a PBC Pay-Per-View event available on Prime Video Saturday, March 30 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Junior welterweight titleholder Rolando Romero has been throwing his words around like thunderous power punches, and Isaac Cruz, who will challenge for his belt March 30, has had little to say in return – until sending a stern warning Monday.

Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz will be hoping to steal the show and claim Rolly Romero’s WBA super lightweight title on March 30 in Las Vegas
