Lawrence Okolie marked his debut at heavyweight by explosively stopping Germany’s Hussein Muhamed inside a round at Wembley Arena

Lawrence Okolie makes his heavyweight debut this weekend and the former cruiserweight and bridgerweight world champion is feeling the benefits of being able to concentrate fully on beating Hussein Muhamed rather than battling the scales.

Hussein Muhamed views Saturday’s fight with Lawrence Okolie as a springboard to more lucrative contests in the heavyweight division.

Lawrence Okolie believes his inability to recall sparring Hussein Muhamed is a reflection of the German not impressing him.

Brad Pauls will face Denzel Bentley in a middleweight clash to headline the latest installment of the “Magnificent 7” series, on December 7 at London's Wembley Arena.

OPI since 82 has announced on Twitter that Anderson Prestot's defense of the EBU middleweight title against ex-champ Matteo Signani will go ahead on November 18 in Savignano sul Rubicone, Italy.

Former WBA "regular" super middleweight champion Tyron Zeuge (24-1-1) will come back after over three years out. Zeuge has signed with the newly formed Fides Sport and promoter Burim Sylejmani. When and where the comeback will take place has yet to be announced.

Former world champion Felix Sturm (41-5-3) takes on young upstart James Kraft (19-0-1) on Universum's show June 19 in Hamburg. This is effectively an eliminator between stablemates and a solid matchup between a veteran and a prospect.

Magdeburg, Germany - EBU heavyweight champ Agit Kabayel (19-0 or 22-2 depending on which fights you recognize or not) won a unanimous decision over Ukrainian Andriy Rudenko (32-4) to retain the title. It was scored 117-110, 116-111 and 119-108 for Kabayel.

Bosnian light heavyweight Emil Markic, 33, improved his record to 24-1, 19 KOs, with the second-round stoppage of overmatched (as always) Georgian opponent Beka Aduashvili (21-10, 11 KOs), 19, who was stopped in nine of his ten losses and who has never won outside of his native land. Markic's record, though impressive on paper, tells little about his boxing ability as the Bosnian has never won of anyone of note.
