Former champion Ricky Hatton, who is attending the WBC Convention in Bangkok, Thailand, is predicting that Manny Pacquiao will conquer his demons and overcome Brandon Rios when the two clash at the Venetian Resort in Macau, later this month.
Ricky says: "Manny Pacquiao is a very strong man, strong willed and a very talented fighter. However, the knockout he suffered against Juan Manuel Marquez will affect his confidence. I struggled when I got knocked out by Mayweather. It wasn't as destrucive as the Marquez one for Manny against Juan Manuel, and I struggled in my confidence for the next fight, so it is very difficult. But many great champions have that little extra of experience, extra spirit and extra spirit that they can use in addition to their strategy.
"Manny has had a lot of hard fights, he's gone through a lot of weight divisons and he's had a very long career, so I personally think the writing is on the wall for Manny. He didn't look very good against Timothy Bradley, then he got knocked down like that. The signs don't look good, but he wants to come back and come back with a win.
"Brandon Rios comes to fight, and if he comes to fight Manny it could then all go wrong. I do think it's going to be a tough night for Manny, but I also think he'll come back with a victory."
