WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury feels confident in his ability to score an early knockout over Anthony Joshua, who holds the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world titles.

Fury and Joshua have agreed on the financial terms for a two-fight series in 2021.

Both Joshua and Fury have upcoming assignments to handle before a unification can come together.

Joshua has an upcoming defense against mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev, which has a tentative date of December 12.

And Fury has a contracted trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder, which is also being eyed for a date in December.

Should Fury finally get Joshua in the ring, he predicts a knockout victory inside of three rounds.

For his part, Joshua predicted in a past interview that he would stop Fury in six rounds.

“I would knock him out inside three rounds,” Fury told TalkSport.

“How is going to get out of the way of me? Is he fleet footed enough to get out of the way? He's very vulnerable. He only needs one left hook to the head and he's gone. A left hook to the body, he can't take them. You don't need to listen to me, when this fight gets made I'll show you what to do with a body builder like him. He has more boxing ability than the Gypsy King?

“He got knocked out by Andy Ruiz and jacked it in the corner. I've more boxing ability in my toe than he has in his whole body. He quit against Andy Ruiz Jr and once you jack once it is always in your mind.”
