Frank Warren, promoter for undefeated Jack Catterall, plans to push for his boxer to receive a mandatory crack at WBO, WBC junior welterweight champion Jose Ramirez. Ramirez is hoping to land a full division unification with WBA, IBF champion Josh Taylor, who later this month will make a mandatory defense. Catterall is the WBO's mandatory challenger to Ramirez.
The heavyweight clash between unbeaten boxers Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce is potentially going to move to a date in November, according to The Daily Star. Unbeaten heavyweight contender Daniel Dubois has no problem with fighting Olympic silver medal winner Joe Joyce without a crowd present. Former world champion Jhonatan Romero (31-1, 17 KOs) is planning to resume his career in the coming weeks and intends to make another world title run. The 33-year-old boxer has been away from the ring since picking up a knockout win in April 2018.

WITH THE ONGOING circumstances across the globe still dictating that boxing fans remain absent from ringside, like many other sectors we have been forced to adapt and specialise in home delivery. Here at Queensberry we were eager to provide sports fans with their fistic fix and we got punches trading again at the earliest opportunity on July 10. From that date in a four-month period until October 10 we have or will have delivered eight shows for the fans to enjoy at home.

Very much like when Anthony Joshua kept talking the talk about Deontay Wilder ahead of what was supposed to be a walkover against Andy Ruiz and then came unstuck, Dillian Whyte spent far too much time keeping Tyson Fury at the forefront of conversations when his focus should have been solely on Alexander Povetkin.
Frank Warren, co-promoter for WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, says top contender Dillian Whyte is getting repaid in kind for his countless verbal barbs against other boxers. This past Saturday night at Matchroom's Fight Camp in Brentwood, Whyte was knocked out cold, in the fifth round, by 40-year-old veteran Alexander Povetkin.
