  • If you were asking about the cavalry in my sig, I didn't draw that picture myself. It's an old painting of the "Charge of the Light Brigade" which happened during the Crimean war between Britain vs Russia in 1854. In case you don't know about it, what happened was that the British and Russian armies were at a stand off at either end of a mountain pass. The Russians had heavy cannon aimed down the valley preventing the British from advancing. A British cavalry officer, who was possibly drunk at the time, misunderstood an order given to him and thought he was being told to charge the Russian position and take control of the guns, so that's what he did. It should have been a suicide mission, but because of the speed of the charge, and the surprise it caused among the Russians, about half the Light Brigade made it all the way to the guns and the rest of the British troops followed them. http://warfarehistorian.blogspot.co....arge-lord.html
