        What do amateur records prove? A talented amateur will rack up wins against a long list of sub par opponents. It is impressive that Loma won so many international tournaments, that is more telling than 300 or so wins, which could mean nothing. Look at Broner for instance, he didnt win a single international tournament tha tI know of.

        So yeah, amateur records are just that, amateur.

            Pertaining to Broner from what I heard from other experts is that Broner only fought on the Junior level and never the world level. I believe this was due to legal troubles.

            So while his record is impressive he never went against the top amateurs of the world.
