well for one, anyone with balls that stood up to him beat him.
in his hypothetical prime, which lasted only 2 years and magically ended at the ripe age of 24, which for most fighters are still green - Tysons in prime weaknesses were his inability to fight inside for a shorter fighter, he was a mid range fighter with great speed and good punching power that would hold on inside rather than fight. He either caught you and stopped you by overwhelming you or he got frustrated.

He didn't stop everyone in his prime like some people think. Tucker, Smith and Green all went the distance with him. Neither of these guys had the ability to fight back.

His 2 marquee wins also have huge holes in them, spinks being a retired lhw who came back and faced Tyson on short notice with no tune up. And Holmes who cameback out of retirement on short notice with no tune up as well. pretty unfair circumstances made to dupe the public.

However, no HW has a perfect record and it is easy to poke holes in a lot of HW resumes, so I still consider Tyson a good HW. I figure he would have lost to Bowe and Holyfield prime for prime all the same, and Lewis vs Tyson is 50/50 for me because Tyson did better than expected vs a prime Lewis and that Tyson was completely shot to pieces when he fought him.

Great video breakdown by Reemus boxing. He also has a 50 min 'skills' video for Tyson as well incase anyone thinks he is hating. He does brilliant 'skills' and 'weaknesses' videos for loads of great fighters on his channel. Well worth a watch. Loved hearing the SRL commentary on his footwork habits, then seeing it play out as he was speaking.

Weakness was mostly between the ears. And actually letting Don King get rid of Rooney.

really,so all the people he beat on the road to complete unification had no bals. according to a keyboard warrior.

A lot of people use that logic, but there were guys who had balls like Green and Razor, who still lost, but did go the distance and didnt fold up.

they didnt win did they? YOu talk as if they took tyson apart.

I also notice you include an example of post prison trauma-ed tyson as an example of his non-prison-traumed run, which isnt fair play.

Truth is - the OP was wrong to say that the entire spectrum of the HW scene up to titlists didnt have bals, being a bit of a keyboard warrior he was there.

Its hard to have bals, when your head is KOed.

Tysons major weakness always was between his ears. He had a level of emotional instability that reared its head when he was stressed.
