They got some of the strongest jaws in the animal kingdom and those things supposedly start eating their prey alive as opposed to most predators that wait until their prey is dead

They also intimidate lions (obviously in packs and not one on one, one on one with a lion they would get f***ked up)

And yes a hyena would do bad things to a pitbull

In fact there's a video where a wolverine (which despite their small size are among the most fierce animals in the kingdom) backs off 2 wolves that were trying to steal its kill

But pound for pound a motivated and pissed off wolf, one on one would shred a pit to pieces. It would just require the will to do so.
