Some cultures like to keep their life style simple. Not everybody like to floss and show off.

For instance, when a white kid takes home a B grade, their parents will congratulate them and say great job. When an asian kid gets a B, their parents will say that’s it? And proceed with a whooping. So from a very young age, we are wired to try and excel in everything we do.

Not that it’s so much different in other cultures, but Economic status/ power means everything to Asians.

My main business is Hardwood floor wholesale and installation. Since im in this line of work, I flip homes as well. Another business is a Hostess Bar that i invested with 2 of my buddies but this one my wife doesnt know about lol.

I dont know much about the restaurant business but i do have many clients who are restuarant owners and they all told me the same thing.. private restuarants are risky but Franchises are the safe bet.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to FinitoxDinamita again.

Thanks bro do u mind if I pick your brain some more as things develop. We are looking to do a franchise restaurant business probably within the next few years. my oldest cousin/uncle will cash out his retirement and go all in with us.

My background is in property management which included small businesses and strip malls, but the restaurant businesses under us always did well especially in the first few years then they may level off especially if new competition opens up near by.

I always heard the floor business is highly lucrative. I remember going to school with this white chick and she was the only on in our class with a brand new Benz and her family had the big crib on top of the hills. She told me her dad did a floor business and she will take it over because she had no brothers lol. I always wanted to find out if she took it over and continued the success or she F'd it up lol.

But bro I give you real props for doing it and for your success bro. You inspire me for me homie. I'm glad you are also flipping houses too as yeah that would seem like the two go hand in hand.

As for the success rate of asians tho I still don't get it, I know other ethnic groups who were super strict and beat their kids whenever they slipped and they never turned out anywhere decent like the asian success stories?

I know there has to be more to it. I heard one theory that Asians tend to always have better credit than the average person who is not Asian and that does help out a whole lot right?

But I also think certain people are just good with numbers, or good with their hands, or good with their mouth, or good at being a manager but its rare when one is excellent at everything? I don't know man?

Also can you school me on the Hostess bars because I heard most of them are a front for Pros is this true? I mean I know everyone is different but from what I hear of my asian friends they all tell me its full of hot chicks who come sit and drink with you right? Then you drop them like $300 and they let you smash in the back vip room right?

I know yours is probably not like this though, but again you probably aren't that close to what really goes on since you are like a silent partner right?

I hear that a lot but I guess it depends out of my asian friends certain ones are cheap as hell to the point where I don't invite the to anything anymore. Others are real generous.

Over all I think they do like the nicer things in life. my asian friends are always wearing expensive name brands, drive nice cars, eating out at fancy joints.

I'm more of a jersey and Jordan shorts guy and even when we all go out chasing girls or kicking it im usually dressed the most ghetto compared to my asian friends. I chose comfort over flossing any day.

But yeah I still think theres more to it. Even if they saved money here and there being cheap and getting freebies that would give them the nicer car and clothes over the rest of us right?

It's the cultural mindset of some groups. Certain Asian groups are more successful than others because they focus intensely on education and business, frugality, etc. The Jews are also very successful, same type of mindset. The Brahmin Indian groups that immigrated to America are the same.

Some groups are just really good at certain things. European Protestants are probably the most creative in history when it comes to inventing, innovating, etc. Every group has their strengths because of a certain type of cultural mindset.

I recommend you read Max Weber (one of the founding fathers of sociology), he explains this stuff in great detail.

They listed Norwegian, Swedish and Danish separately, so why is 'Scandinavian-American' on that list too?

Same thing with the Czech and the Slovakians. They're two separate countries but 'Czech-Slovakian American' is on the list?

Slavic-American? Is there even such thing?

The oppression myth was invented retroactively to explain why some American groups underperform others. It's not like the US demoted the social status of anyone. The most damning accusation you can level at the US is that it didn't liberate/elevate with even greater speed (but this makes very little sense as well since for most of its history it was essentially a sandbox environment with minimal central social engineering).

Only people who fell for the American oppression myth to begin with are surprised that Asian groups coming from labor-oriented cultures or with above average IQs rose to the top of American lifestyle metrics almost upon arrival.

Now Asian-Americans despite their wealth aren't in the best long-term position. The White American (and for that matter the White European) population is on its deathbed and some of these Asian groups will inherit the same situation; where they are disproportionately the victims of interracial murder/rape/theft/etc but scapegoated as racists manufacturing poverty from within their gated communities.

If you have money and fair/attractive daughters then the other 90% of the population that doesn't have as much of those things is going to surround you and engineer legal & media narratives until you give up the loot. The dysgenic epidemic turned it into purely a numbers game.

I would say the economically the best position for any group is right in the middle. It allowed you to lay low and not be scapegoated/victimized/sexualized to the degree of modern whites & your countries aren't as heavily targeted for forced swarm-style migrations. IE the paradox where communism froze Eastern Europe's economic development but as a result they will survive for generations after the last native western European is deceased, his history "revised" to glorify the new inhabits & his grave twerked upon.

Not just any education but practical education like lawyers, doctors, nurses etc. instead of useless education like Philiosphy, Latin etc,

College graduates earn more than non college graduate on average
Exactly why I did my service time and now trying to get a BA in 3.

In a perfect world, I'd end up with 2 BAs in 3. But the schit is killing me.

I agree with the useless education like latin etc as well. All that serves no purpose unless you want to be a professor which most don't. They just get into it for the sake of being in college. Waste their time and end up with a useless degree and 100k+ in student debt.

Later in high school, i did just enough to get by and get into USC but we all know usc isnt some hard school to get into lol.

You are exactly right about that and I did mention that too. Anything below A isnt good enough for asian parents. Infact only grade that’s acceptable is an A+.....

Yea Viets, Laos etc seem to be different. But Koreans, chinese, and Japanese to an extent are brutal when it comes to education.

When i was in elementary school, i came home at 7:00 after school, after school program, piano lesson and sht.
Most of the asians I grew up around where Cambo, Laos, Viet. Was a serious mixed bag. Most were average about school and the others that weren't, picked up the gang mentality. San Bernardino CA, gotta love it. smh

USC is still a pretty legit school though. For certain majors I should say.

You studied business at USC? Since making money takes up majority of your time, I imagine that was the path you took?

What race, might as well say it.
