Crazy thing is...

If Price had beat Thompson, the Chisora fight was apparently done for summer that year. Price would’ve been a huge favourite going into that fight. Price went on to lose to Thompson twice whilst Chisora rebuilt his career beating Malik Scott and also capturing the EBU title against Gerber. Now over 6 years later this fight is actually happening and I’m sure Chisora will be a big favourite now.

Dereck Chisora has his new opponent for October 26. Promoter Eddie Hearn announced Tuesday that the London-based heavyweight contender will box British veteran David Price in a 12-round fight that night at O2 Arena in London. Chisora was supposed to face former WBO champion Joseph Parker, but New Zealand's Parker withdrew from their fight last week due to an illness doctors believe was caused by a spider bite.
