Why’s no one calling Canelo out for “lowball” offer?

Bulls**t. He deserves way more than he was offered.

Now he can tell GBP to go f**k themselves, keep winning and eventually demand even more when the fight is a must see amongst fans.

Keep winning? Bro he’s been exposed. The next good fighter that studies his last performance, scalps him

That’s one fight. There’s a lot of undefeated champions who have “been exposed”

He’s only a bigger draw than the three fighters you mentioned on the west coast.

He also wasn’t fighting in the DAZN era where purses have skyrocketed.
Ortiz had just beaten the 3rd best welterweight in the world at the time who was also undefeated in a fight of the year and won the WBC belt, GTFO that Ortiz didn't deserve it

so why are you blaming canelo or GBP, when you clearly know the answer?? stop acting dumb, you know dazn overpaid jacobs and now every one else wants to get overpaid... dazn already said they will not over pay anymore, so good luck for those rejecting canelo fights...

Mayweather was paying between $2.5 million to $4 to his opponents.

Josh didn’t even offer boxers who’re contenders and aren’t draws that type of ****ty money. Why’s Canelo getting a pass? I’m a Canelo fan but this has to stop. Offer the man what he’s worth and he’ll fight you in Tijuana.

What both of you are saying makes no sense because AJ paid exactly that amount for Parker after Parker fought tooth & nail for every extra penny just to get the same as Martin got,AJ tried giving him like 2 mil, & at hw where fighters get paid way more & Parker not only had a belt but was a bigger earner than Smith & unlike Canelo who has multiple champ options,AJ had to beat Parker or nobody else that was a champ.

To top it off when AJ gave him that after serious negotiations he pocketed 5x + what Parker got. He offered Wilder 12 million ffs for the biggest non canelo fight in all of Boxing where hed likely pocket 150 mil. Canelo has been paying all his opponents approx 1/3 what he earns, ggg got 45%,& they all get multiple times their highest payday. Hearn/AJ have been fleecing opponents while AJ pocketed 100 mil vs Ruiz in the rematch aka 10x what Ruiz earned.

And shane I want you to answer me this time for once because you often disregard these facts & continue your thread as if they don't render it meaningless. AJ unlike Canelo is rewarded for fleecing opponents,Canelo makes same regardless

inflation does not double purses, thats a BS excuse...
again, you want to earn big then beat the man or else keep fighting for peanuts and STFU...
Ortiz was a never a “draw” to begin with just like the other guys you named. They all got paid considerably less.

Leverage is all about what options you have. Canelo making $35 million no matter who he fights.
Where else is Smith getting $4-5 million?
