As soon as Usyk moves up to heavyweight and vacates all the belts we will be right back in the same mess all over again.
The only way to get rid of the alphabet soup is to mandate only one governing body for all of boxing worldwide. But good luck getting the current governing bodies to agree to go away.

You don't get away from bad institutionalized authority by creating a monolithic institution. If people would accept the legitimacy of the fighters exclusively, and demand that they fight the best, these organizations would have no legitimacy. When the law itself was breathing down boxing's neck, it was not some organization that saved it...it was people, barges, and politicians, police, bought for two shiny nickels. And then it was the fighters, who sometimes were arrested after the fight!

People will accept the legitimacy of the fighters exclusively. But will the fighters accept getting rid of the carnival barkers that drum up large audiences and attract them to the big tent?
Until promoters are eliminated we won't always see the best fight the best, because promoters will try to maximize reward and minimize risk.
