If you'd lived through Edwin Valero's career and witnessed it firsthand, you'd know that isnt true.

2017 and people are still talking about Valero as if he was some great fighter. He did nothing to prove that. GTFOH.

If Valero just stopped fighting nobody would still be talking about the guy. The only reason he pops up every once in a while is because he was a murdering POS.

Valero definitely died at the right time of his career for fantasy fights purposes. First, he hadn't fought anyone that was all that good, secondly he ended up with 27-0 and 27 KO's. He did show his many flaws vs DeMarco though, and he was only 28, he was going to get beat up, probably as soon he fought Pacquiao at 140lbs which was being talked about. He would've gotten cut up and had his face destroyed but it would've been fun while it lasted.

He had the attributes that would trouble Loma. Thinl the flaw with a lot of technical fighters these days is they lack tenacity which is why they end up quitting.

Credit where credit is due, Loma showed his agaist Salido and in bouncing back from the loss.

That said, Valero is a piece of ****. He didn't accomplish much and all fantasy matchups are built on whats if and speculation. **** him and may his wife rest in peace.

This whole Valero fantasy **** is almost bordering on those MMA goofs that think some 130lb Chinese actor is the greatest fighter to ever walk the face of the earth.
