A far cry from boxing purses giving to B list fighters. However UFC is putting out a better overall product every PPC. Dana is on to something.

Are boxers getting paid too much? Is the rising cost of PPV for boxers and their high demands are killing the sport ?

Are UFC figures paid too low? I think they are getting market value while Terrance Crawford is over valued.

I think Da La Hoya or Mayweather can do a lot of work in MMA if they entered into the market.

Nico Price only getting $27,000 for that epic war with Vicente Luque where he got destroyed seems criminal.
Yes, boxers probably paid too much but it’s absolutely certain that UFC fighters get paid way too little.

They also don't have system in place where 90% of your record is against journeymen who were paid $500 to get knocked out & hype your next "payday".

Even 30k would be a huge jackpot for the opponents who make up the majority of any boxer's record.

If De La Hoya could destroy boxing and convert it to the same millionaires beating up homeless people (with nothing in the middle) model as boxing I'm sure he would.

        Henry Cejudo: $390,000

sad axx fvvvk!!! this dude had like 3 belts in 3 different weight class and is getting paid less than some C level boxers!

and tony only getting $380k??? the damage he took in that fight will need all of that money to fix it. UFC/Dana is lame for doing this.

a UFC champion could fight 3-4 times in a year and barely make $1mil total combine for those fights where as for a low level bum boxers, he could make the same amount or more just off 1 fight alone.

That's why Cejudo is retiring. He said he has a number, but the UFC won't give him that.

If by bum-level boxers you mean the average boxer, the journeyman who fills up a top fighter's record...

The going rate is about $2,000 per fight. Don't take my word for it. Go out and ask.

Crazy how on a dedicated boxing forum, you have guys who think avg boxers make 1 million per fight. They're lucky to cover their fight-night expenses.

That’s true. But at the same time they have bigger fan bases then the average boxer. I think Cowboy or Ferguson could fill up an area faster then Mikey Garcia
