Connor will also be loosing weight the next 6 weeks so will be smaller than he was at these pressers.
In all of the sparring footage his power doesn't seem to translate, chris van heerden said he wasn't phased by his power one bit in 16oz gloves, sure they are not 10oz gloves but other 154/147 fighters are known to hit hard in 16oz gloves connor is not, and he looks SLOW AS HELL, like literally the slowest boxer that has ever faced floyd.

Size isn't the be all and end all though and it seems Conor thinks size is the main reason he will win. He keeps pushing that point that Floyd is "too small"
Rude awakening, you'd think.
In boxing, if you're mayweather's level, then size don't mean that much - with such a small difference.

I remember Floyd making fun of Manny for putting lifts in his shoes. Now he was wearing platform Nike's just to be eye level with mcgregor... Oh the irony.

Conor will probably weigh 165 lbs on fight night. Let's not forget he also fights at 145 in the UFC.

If this was George St Pierre or Jon Jones fighting mayweather, I'd agree that Floyd wins 100% bc those guys are not primarily stand-up fighters/strikers.
You guys with this "no chance" bs are acting like McGregor's existing skillset will have zero transference into a boxing ring.
Will McGregor likely lose? Yes.
Is there an in-road to victory? Yes.
Remember that vegas sees Conor as the next big thing. Who even comes close? No one. Not one person. No one. Conor is scandal-free, completely respectful when he's not playing a WWE character for the 'entertainment' aspect of 'sports entertainment'.
Floyd knows this. Conor knows this about Floyd too.
But both guys feel like they have to win this fight. Does a loss deminish Floyd's legacy among boxing purists? Of course not. He's on the wrong side of 40, and cashing in on a final payday (undoubtedly his biggest)
But if he slips up and gets caught by a punch he doesn't see, then you better believe that casuals will think of him as a fraud for the rest of his career. And they'll be wrong, but Floyd built his entire ethos on his perfect career.
It's the same reason people are always cheering for him to go broke. Sure, there are racists and haters, but there's also a **** load of people who like seeing someone who literally burns money lose it all. It's human nature.
Floyd is going to work hard to win this decisively. He's not as stupid as he acts.
This is no act on Conor's part. He wins either way in terms of his brand marketability (as long as he doesn't get viciously KO'd (which I just can't see happening)).
Conor is going to obsess over this training camp, and if there is a non-boxer at 154 who can catch Floyd, it's Conor.
Those who says Conor won't touch Floyd are showing their fanboyness. Conor started his boxing training long before this contract was signed, anticipating this competition
