He fought a basic fight vs wilder but got some shots in because wilder gets lit up by every opponent. Before his old ticker gave in and he gassed.

Now though he is this fierce beast.

It's hard to say how good he was, but he was probably a bit overhyped. All he ever really did was knock Jennings out in good fashion. Apart from that, he looked poor v Malik Scott. He didn't even look that good v Dave Allen, who isn't even British title level. obviously he won those fights but still.

His reputation was based on pure speculation rather than any evidence to back it up.

I still think he's a pretty good heavyweight and dangerous to a degree but probably a level below the top guys, especially at this point anyway.
