            my lao exes, their family gathering, they have those huge dip platters you use for chips and dip.

            bagoong isda in the middle and they have vegetables they dip in it.

                Did you not ask them how it's called in Laos?

                Fish paste but not patis. The one I have has a brand name L'Aplaya. We use it as a sauce for unripe mango with a lot of crushed chili pepper.

                  Sarap nga prof. Sasarap na paniking natikman ko yung luto ng mga taga masinloc, zambales.

                  Madami din yan sa may subic. Pag dating ng hapon parang swarm ng locust sa dami. Sabay sabay sila eastward.

                  Pano ba naaalis ang panghi?

                    Sa me bandang kili kili, sinabi lang sakin pero malalaman mo daw kasi nga mapanghi daw.

                      Bagong Alamang na galing Pangasinan...super sarap sa unripe mango.
