Endurance does play a huge role... If you go for it, and don't sink it in, then you risk a chance of gassing out that body part,, just like what happened to ken..

You can totally see him not get the choke, but kept going for it and gassed his arms...

he did two things that let kimbo escape.

1 when you have someones back for rnc, you flatten him on his chest right after you lift his chin up.

you don't pull the guy back to sitting or standing position. you push him flat forward with your hooks sinked in.

2. rear naked choke you anchor your hand in between your forearm and bicep and you put the other hand behind the opponents head.

it does 2 things. it tighten and close the choke. second the guy can't pull your arm off.

either ken is stupid or he didn't want to finish the choke.

if you wanna argue strength or whatever.

remember 176 lb. scrawny royce gracie choked out 220 lb. roided up ken shamrock with same rnc and ken is much more skilled than kimbo.

rnc fail because you can't sink it in under the chin.
