I think kicks should be allowed, but not stomps. Knees should be okay too. I used to love it in the early UFC days when guys were on the ground and one dude was just smashing the other with knees to the face or top of the head. I'd like to see Pride rules used by some org again someday, except for the stomps. Then fighters could also escape submissions a little more easily using kicks.
